Castle Hill's lunch menu begins with a selection of first courses, including Matunuck Oysters on the half shell with citrus mignonette and grapefruit-fennel salad; chile-glazed Berkshire Pork with cornmeal flatbread, poblanos, roasted corn, and cilantro vinaigrette; and Native Littlenecks steamed with local kielbasa, cherry tomatoes, parsley, and Vinho Verde broth.
Main courses feature an array of sandwiches and composed plates, including a Colorado Lamb Gyro with hummus, tomatoes, artichokes, romaine, and mint-feta yogurt on pita bread; Lobster Roll with tarragon-crème fraiche dressing and fried onion strings on a sesame seed bun; Murray's Chicken Salad with spring vegetables, field greens, Narragansett Creamery queso blanco, grilled bread, and lemon vinaigrette; pan-roasted Georges Bank Scallops with quinoa-spring vegetable ragout, roasted grape tomatoes, and sea urchin emulsion; and skillet-seared Scottish Salmon with sunchoke puree, asparagus, Trumpet Royal mushrooms, and Pinot Noir syrup.
Lunch concludes with a selection of housemade desserts, including a Swedish Profiterole with Italian meringue, lemon cream, and a blueberry-honey reduction; Strawberry & Rhubarb Pie with crème fraîche ice cream and coconut syrup; and Semifreddo: Milk chocolate mousse, devil's food cake, ganache, and mint anglaise.
Castle Hill's lawn menu heralds the return of summer with a selection of small plates to be enjoyed during the waning sunlight hours. From 3:30 p.m. - sunset, guests can enjoy Seafood by the Piece, including native oysters, Narragansett Bay littleneck clams, and white shrimp; Clam Chowder with a thyme-pepper biscuit; the Castle Hill Seafood Tasting: lobster, oysters, littlenecks, and white shrimp served with piquant sauces and citrus; and an Antipasto of assorted salumi, olives, cheese, and Bristol Bakery Bread.
Starting at 5:00 p.m., guests can enjoy a more expansive menu, which begins with a selection of appetizers including Georges Bank Scallops with maitake mushrooms, spring onion, pancetta, and fava bean-sunchoke puree; Panzanella Salad of spring vegetables, field greens, Narragansett Creamery queso blanco, grilled bread, and lemon vinaigrette; and Organic Greens with Marcona almonds, onion jam, Hannabells cheese, and tangerine vinaigrette.
Main courses include Gorges Bank White Fish with tomato, basil, and red onion relish; Hereford Beef Filet with Great Hill Blue Cheese butter; and Murray's Statler Chicken with peperonata, all served with summer vegetable succotash and new potatoes.
Castle Hill is open for dinner from 5:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5:45 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Lunch is served daily from 12:00 p.m. - 3:30:00 p.m. and an outdoor lawn menu is available daily in the summer from 3:30 p.m. - sunset. Brunch is served Sundays from 11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and is accompanied by live jazz.
